Industrial Lands Study
On February 25, 2009 the Lee County Commissioners
approved
CPA2007-00055, an amendment to the Comprehensive
Plan Industrial Development Future Land Use Category,
permitting developments north of Alico Road and along
Metro Parkway to construct a
significantly greater amount of office and retail
uses. Industrial Planned Developments approved
over the last 10 years contain restrictive
development parameters that can now be amended to
diversify the potential uses.

FEMA Flood Zone Map
Revisions
As of August 28, 2008 FEMA completed
the first comprehensive review of flood zones throughout
Lee County in 22 years. As a result, your property may
have been included in the 195 square miles of land
acclimated into a Special Flood Hazard Area, or
floodway, commonly known as the 100-year floodplain!
What this means to
Landowners
The use of fill will be restricted
in the new floodways, potentially creating a site that
can not be developed. We can help.

hired QAI to conceptualize, prepare the
application and present his 400-acre property for
the site selection process for the new Lee County
spring training facility. The concept includes a
"World-Class" Sports Village, including facilities
for FGCU and USA Swimming, while allowing for
commercial and residential development.
